Let’s recap: cupcakes, macarons, pie, donuts. What’s missing? Ice Cream.

I’ve never really been one of those people who needs to have ice cream in the freezer at all times, but obviously I can appreciate a good scoop. Ed’s Real Scoop is blogTO’s #1-rated ice cream, and we headed over there as our final stop of the day.

Danielle and I were definitely approaching max capac at this point, so we each ordered up kiddie size scoops (still a pretty generous serving of ice cream!).  I had Burnt Marshmallow and Danielle had Lemon Meringue. Mine was sweet and toasty and had a whole s’mores factor going on. Danielle said hers was light and refreshing and acted as a nice palate cleanser.

I should be honest here; I couldn’t finish my ice cream. I felt it was a crime against everything I believe in when I had to throw my cone in the garbage, but I just couldn’t do it. It was time to head to Starbucks to rest, hydrate and regroup, before heading back to the west end for dinner.
