To finish off Vegas week here on Planet Byn, we’ll have a quick wrap-up of the rest of our eats:

BLT Burger (Mirage): Any restaurant with four kinds of fries is alright with me (fat, skinny and waffle cut, as well as sweet potato). You can also get spiked milkshakes with everything from irish cream to bourbon to coconut rum. Keeping it real though, my burger here can’t compare to the heaven that is Craft Burger in Toronto.

Pink’s (Planet Hollywood): It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Koi (Planet Hollywood): Our only dinner in our hotel. I’m not really a sushi fan, so I don’t have much to comment on here. Kristine did the ordering, and I liked what I tried, but again, those are my own issues. (No pictures)

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (Various locations, but there was one in our hotel): Home of the one, the only, Ice Blended. An obsession since our trip to LA in ’05.

Red Ribbon (Off The Strip): Kristine was on a Red Ribbon mission on our way to the airport to stock up on treats to bring home to her family. Red Ribbon is a Filipino bakery with all sorts of goodies. I am obsessed with Ube Cake, which is made from purple yams (or ube in the Phillipines), for both the flavour and the bright natural colour.

And with that, it’s Thanksgiving this weekend! I’m in charge of sides and dessert, so we’ll talk about those next week!
