Sometimes I wonder if Americans realize how lucky they are to be able to go to Target anytime they want. I feel the same way about Trader Joe’s, though I have never been there. I’ve visited the Trader Joe’s website many times searching for my closet location. Detroit, I see you. I’m coming for you.

So every time I visit my parents in Florida, I go to Target a minimum of three times. But I’ve never been there close to Christmastime, and my brain almost short-circuited from all the red and green candy and treats when I was there a couple of weeks ago (I’ll cover non-Christmas treats in the next post). Since my parents could care less about Christmas tree shaped marshmallows, I took pictures of everything I was excited about, so we could discuss it here. I didn’t actually buy any of this stuff, but I’ll show you what I brought home later.

1. Peppermint Oreos – You can’t get these in Canada, or at least I’ve never seen them. Imagine how good they would be crushed up as a cheesecake crust! Yum.

2. Holiday Mallows – So cute! Pink star and green tree marshmallows. I want these in my hot chocolate.

3. Holiday Funfetti Cake & Cookie Mix – Love this. I don’t buy any box cake or cookie mixes, but it’s fun to get ideas from them.

4. Chocolate Peppermint Cookie Mix – Another variation. Love this too – and crushed candy canes on top! Definitely re-creating these.

5. Christmas Pretzel Crisps – I freaking love pretzel crisps dipped in hummus…but I could also get on board with a sweet chocolate mint version!

6. Christmas Whoopie Pies – More cuteness.

7. Cadbury Christmas Eggs – Not just for Easter anymore!

8. Holiday Skittles – My 15-year-old Skittle loving self is all over this.

My trip to Target left me so psyched and inspired for holiday baking! Danielle and I have a Google Chat book for next weekend to seriously discuss our baking lists. I think there’s already about 12 things on mine 🙂
