Just a few quick posts today to log some of my baking projects from last week. Nicole’s parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary (amazing) and I made these cookie favours for everyone to take home from their party.
I based them on the Royal Wedding Cookies I made (holy cow, exactly a year ago! Happy 1st Anniversary Wills & Kate!) but some googling showed me how nice white and gold would look. It’s hard to see from the pictures but the gold was just slightly shimmery. Nicole gave me some cellophane bags and gold ribbon to wrap them up, and she reported back that they were a big hit!

May 1, 2012 10:45 pmI originally just looked at the pics only and only now read the text; can u believe I’m so foolish I though these were for ur parents and “m & d” stood for “mum &dad”?! What was I thinking, I don’t know! a lovely anniversary gift/favour these would make is you refer to the couple s “mum and dad” 😉 Ha, if I extended my “logic”, one could decorate an anniversary cake with “bs” for “brother and sister-in-law”
it’s a real good thing nobody asks ME to bake delicious things for their important events! ;))
